How to install HotPlayer on Apple TV

Find Hot Player in the App Store
On your Apple TV open the App Store, go to Search and type Hot Player. The download is free and comes with a free trial — after that the playlist licence is bought inside the app, and one purchase also covers your iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Install it and open Hot Player
Select Get, wait for it to finish, then open Hot Player.

Hot Player asks for your playlist
Hot Player opens and asks you to upload your playlist on its website. Leave this screen on your Apple TV — you will come back to it.

Go to hotplayer.app/upload and add your details
On your phone or computer, open hotplayer.app/upload. Choose Xtream Codes as the type, then enter the server URL, username and password from your activation email and click Save.
You will need a phone, tablet or computer for this step — the upload page is a website, not part of the Apple TV app.

Back on the Apple TV, press Refresh
Return to the Hot Player screen on your Apple TV and press Refresh. It picks up the playlist you just saved.
