How to install TiviMate on Firestick & Fire TV

Already have Downloader installed and unknown sources switched on for it? Part 3 → If you are not sure, run Part 2 anyway — it takes a minute and turning it on again changes nothing.

    Open the search bar

    From the Firestick home screen, move to the search bar at the top left and open it.

    Search for Downloader

    Type “Downloader” into the search box.

  3. 3

    Select the Downloader app

    Choose the orange Downloader app from the results.

  4. 4

    Click Download or Get

    Select “Download” (or “Get”) to install it from the Amazon Appstore.

  5. 5

    Wait a few seconds

    Leave the screen alone while the app downloads.

  6. 6

    Installation finished

    You are notified once the installation has completed.

2Part 2Allow installs from unknown sources7 steps

    Open Settings › My Fire TV

    Go back to your Settings and click My Fire TV.

    Choose About

    In the My Fire TV menu, open About.

  3. 3

    Click 7 times to become a developer

    Hover over “Fire TV Stick” (or whatever your device is called) and press the select button 7 times, until you see “You are now a developer”.

    Open Developer options

    Go back to the My Fire TV tab — Developer options is now listed.

    On older Fire TV Stick models, Developer options appears directly inside My Fire TV — you will not need to open About first.

    Choose Install unknown apps

    Inside Developer options, open “Install unknown apps”.

    Select Downloader

    Find Downloader in the list and switch it on.

  7. 7

    Unknown sources enabled

    Downloader is now allowed to install apps. That is everything Firestick needs.

3Part 3Install TiviMate9 steps

    Open Downloader and select the URL bar

    Open Downloader and click the URL box at the top of the Home tab.

    Input 272483 and click Go

    Type 272483 and click Go. This is TiviMate's official code from tivimate.com.

    Wait for the app to download

    The download starts immediately — leave it until the progress bar finishes.

    Click Install

    When the download finishes, the install screen appears. Click Install.

  5. 5

    “Ready to launch!”

    TiviMate shows the “Ready to launch!” message once it is installed.

  6. 6

    Click Open, then Add playlist

    Click Open to launch TiviMate. On the screen that appears, choose Add playlist.

    Select the Xtream Codes option

    Choose Xtream Codes as the playlist type — not M3U.

  8. 8

    Enter your details

    Type the server URL, username and password from your activation email, or find them in your account. Take your time — they are case sensitive.

    Start watching

    TiviMate loads your channels, films and series. When the list appears, press play — you are set up.
